<p>Professional Phantom HSS Hand Taps Set, DIN 5157 compliant, 2-piece, specifically for cutting G (BSP - British Standard Pipe) pipe thread. Made from high-grade high-speed steel (HSS) for reliable performance and long service life in general steel applications.</p>
<p>The set consists of a pilot and a finishing tap. This 2-step system (Tap No. 1 and No. 2), as defined in the DIN 5157 standard, progressively divides the cutting load. The pilot tap centers and pre-cuts the profile, after which the finishing tap cuts the G-thread to full, nominal depth. Ideal for precise manual tapping.</p>
