<p>Professional Phantom UNI HSS-E Machinetap (Long version) for the mechanical tapping of Metric screw thread.<br><br>As a Universal (UNI) tool, this tap is manufactured from HSS-E. Thanks to its special geometry, this tap performs excellently in a wide range of materials, such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.<br><br>This long version features a Thin shank (a through-shank conforming to DIN 376 style). This reduced shank makes it possible to tap deeper located holes. The chip breaker (form B) and 3.5–5 thread lead angle are optimized for through holes, effectively pushing chips forward. The special Anti-overrun geometry guarantees an extremely precise final result.</p>
