<p>Professional Phantom HSS Handtap, according to ISO 529, Form C, for the manufacture of Metric screw thread. This tap is made of high-quality high-speed steel (HSS) and is specifically designed for manual use in general steel and non-ferrous metals.</p><p>Characteristic of Form C is the very short lead (about 1-2 passes). This feature makes this tap the essential tool for cutting screw thread to full depth. It is thus the tap you use for the finishing pass, and crucial for blind holes where you must manufacture the thread right up to the bottom. This tap cuts the nominal end size.</p>
