<p>Professional Phantom HSS Hand Taps Set, DIN 2181 compliant, 2-stage, specifically for the manufacture of Metric Fine (MF) screw thread. Manufactured from high-grade high-speed steel (HSS) for reliable performance in general steel locations and non-ferrous metals.</p>
<p>This set consists of a pilot and a finishing tap. This 2-step system, specifically for the DIN 2181 standard for fine screw thread, progressively divides the cutting load. The pilot tap (No. 1) cuts the profile ahead, after which the finishing tap (No. 2) brings the thread to the full, nominal depth. Ideal for precise manual tapping of through and blind holes.</p>
