Professional Phantom HSS Thread Tap Set (ISO 529), 3-piece, for manually creating Metric screw threads. Manufactured from high-grade HSS for reliable service life in general steel applications.<br><br>This set consists of three taps that all cut the same nominal end diameter. The system divides the cutting load into steps. The taps differ only in a varying short, medium, and long lead-in cut. This design ensures a very controlled and accurate build-up of the thread profile, ideal for through holes and (with the short lead-in) for tapping close to the bottom of blind holes.
