<p>Professional set Phantom HSS Handtaps (ISO 529), 2-piece, Form D+C, for the manufacture of Metric screw thread. Made of high-quality HSS for reliable manual use in general steel and non-ferrous metals.</p><p>This 2-step set (Form D and Form C) is designed to distribute the cutting load efficiently, with both taps cutting the exact same nominal end size. The set features a short and middle lead. The Form D tap (middle lead, about 3-5 passes) is used for the first, guiding pass. The Form C tap (short lead, about 1-2 passes) is essential for the finish and tapping right up to the bottom of blind holes.</p>
