<p>This set consists of three taps that all cut the same final size (conforming to ISO 529). The system divides the cutting load in steps, where the taps solely differ by a varying short, medium, and long lead. This design guarantees a very controlled and precise build-up of the thread profile, ideal for through holes and (with the short lead) for tapping blind holes up to the bottom.</p>
