<p>This tap cuts the special oversize UNF screw thread in which you place the Phan-Coil insert (for thread repair or reinforcement). Characteristic of Form C is the very short cutting (approx. 1-2 passes). This makes the tap essential for the finishing pass and tapping blind holes right to the bottom. After installing the insert, the nominal UNF internal thread is created.</p>
