The Phantom HSS Set Twist Drills DIN 1897 contains a range of extra short polished twist drills with cylindrical shanks from article group 11.130, neatly arranged in a robust plastic cassette. From a diameter of 1.6 mm, the drills feature a precise cross-grinding and a top angle of 118°, resulting in optimal centering properties and eliminating the need for pre-centering, especially when working with plate material. Drills with a diameter ≥ 2 mm are steam-rolled, which increases their wear resistance. This set provides the professional metalworker with a complete basic set of standard drills, characterized by their stability thanks to the extra short design.
